The referee ignored Fredriksdal BF's protests and gave Otto Sundström a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th minute, Otto Sundström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the match, Fredriksdal BF's goal looked a bit too open when Gösta Kellbom came free, but Stellan Gallin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Per Frick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Karl Bivall fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arsenal FC's protests and gave Karl Bivall a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Arsenal FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Karl Bivall hit a great ball. Alexander Sellberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per Frick, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 29th minute of the match, Morgan Bogren tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alexander Sellberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rasmus Jakobsson made in the 32nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Fredriksdal BF's Vilgot Alebäck. Tom Hurtig took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stellan Gallin. Per Frick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Sellberg having to interfere. The supporters of Arsenal FC booed when Fredriksdal BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ian Waller didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the game, Arsenal FC's Peter Jansson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stellan Gallin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2.

The wind increased when Per Frick made the kick off in the second half. Ivan Paulin succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 53rd playminute.
