An unexpectedly hard shot by Corneliu Ciorobîtcă in the 2nd minute of play forced Hisingen IK's goalkeeper Einar Jernberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Einar Jernberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sten Sjödin, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. When William Gunnarsson came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Hisingen IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that William Gunnarsson couldn't finish the play. 13 minutes into the match, Bagarby Bollklubb's goal looked a bit too open when Ludwig Smedfeldt came free, but Stefan Josefsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Corneliu Ciorobîtcă struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Einar Jernberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bagarby Bollklubb. 16 minutes into the match, Bagarby Bollklubb's goal looked a bit too open when Jörn Fagrell came free, but Stefan Josefsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Jörn Fagrell notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Bagarby Bollklubb's Stefan Josefsson. Stefan Josefsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Einar Jernberg made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Corneliu Ciorobîtcă sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th minute Viktor Nyman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Josefsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Hisingen IK defense, Kåre Lundgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Einar Jernberg. The Hisingen IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Einar Jernberg should have stopped the shot. When Bagarby Bollklubb's Corneliu Ciorobîtcă in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hisingen IK's goalie prevented a goal. In the 33rd minute, Bagarby Bollklubb's Sten Sjödin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Einar Jernberg. Einar Jernberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. 37 minutes into the match, Hisingen IK's goal looked a bit too open when Corneliu Ciorobîtcă came free, but Einar Jernberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Eric Nyman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hisingen IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bagarby Bollklubb the free kick. Eric Nyman kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Corneliu Ciorobîtcă took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Einar Jernberg. Einar Jernberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörn Fagrell in the 43rd minute of play forced Bagarby Bollklubb's goalkeeper Stefan Josefsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the game, Hisingen IK's Ludwig Smedfeldt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stefan Josefsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Corneliu Ciorobîtcă to make the kick off. Corneliu Ciorobîtcă took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Einar Jernberg. Einar Jernberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. In the 58th minute, Corneliu Ciorobîtcă made a precise shot to the right of Einar Jernberg. Hisingen IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. Eric Nyman kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Einar Jernberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corneliu Ciorobîtcă in the 62nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Corneliu Ciorobîtcă put it in 6-2 from a short distance just to the right of Einar Jernberg. In the 66th minute Jörn Fagrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Josefsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ludwig Smedfeldt hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Bagarby Bollklubb's Stefan Josefsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörn Fagrell in the 72nd minute of play. If Emanuel Brun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Corneliu Ciorobîtcă in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Einar Jernberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corneliu Ciorobîtcă in the 84th minute of play forced Hisingen IK's goalkeeper Einar Jernberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Emanuel Brun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Einar Jernberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-2. Einar Jernberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Brun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Bagarby Bollklubb were the better team. Bagarby Bollklubb's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
