Spectators: 7651 (Terracing: 5740, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 152) Marcus Wahlström started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Bengt-Åke Karlstedt came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Traryd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bengt-Åke Karlstedt couldn't finish the play. In the 10th minute, Ander Pareja made a precise shot to the right of Amado Bilintx. Vanjolina's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Leif Hedvall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Kjellbom, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Amado Bilintx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ander Pareja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Ander Pareja managed to get in a good position for a shot. Traryd's supporters rose to their feet, but Ander Pareja was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amado Bilintx breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sajeev Shiong charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sajeev Shiong the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sajeev Shiong kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Hans Kjellbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leif Hedvall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robin Granqvist hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Traryd's Inge Backlund got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After 34 played minutes Vanjolina got a freekick which was hit by Michel Clementsson. In the 36th minute, Dennis Hedberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Traryd defense, Hector Berart kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leif Hedvall. The Traryd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leif Hedvall should have stopped the shot. Patrick Kullgren kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Jens-Erik Samuelsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ander Pareja stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hector Berart hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Henrik Josefsson took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Leif Hedvall to make any attempt to save it. Amado Bilintx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sajeev Shiong, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Hubert Clementsson kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Marcus Wahlström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leif Hedvall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Wahlström in the 80th minute of the match. Leif Hedvall made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Hans Kjellbom sent off a good shot on target. When Traryd's Sajeev Shiong in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vanjolina's goalie prevented a goal. After 88 played minutes Vanjolina got a freekick which was hit by Hector Berart. Leif Hedvall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimmy Tidén in the 95th minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Traryd's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Wahlström came free, but Leif Hedvall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Vanjolina supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vanjolina would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
