Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Isaac Ekblom got the match started through his kick off. Greger Tönnberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Gert Lundin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sakarias Björkqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lammhult fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! Gert Lundin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Billock, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. If Filip Modig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Lammhult's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Ekblom came free, but Gert Lundin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filip Modig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sonny Vollander having to interfere. Hovås's Sonny Vollander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Hovås from getting a goal against them. When Filip Modig came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Lammhult fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filip Modig couldn't finish the play.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Filip Modig was the one to do the kick off. Stefan Ivarsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Gert Lundin made a huge save. Filip Modig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sonny Vollander having to interfere. A collision led to Lammhult getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Jens-Erik Westerberg hit a great ball. After 65 played minutes Lammhult got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Erik Westerberg. Lammhult's Gert Lundin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Ekblom in the 67th minute of play. Lammhult's Gert Lundin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Lammhult from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stefan Ivarsson got free with Gert Lundin in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 82nd minute, Greger Tönnberg made a precise shot to the right of Gert Lundin. Lammhult's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. When Erik Billock came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Hovås fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Billock couldn't finish the play. If Greger Tönnberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 89 played minutes Lammhult got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Erik Westerberg. In the 92nd minute, Staffan Björk made a precise shot to the right of Sonny Vollander. Hovås's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. Gert Lundin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Ekblom in the 96th minute of play. When the match was over Hovås could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lammhult throughout the match.
