The Chuba Chubba Akpom fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mats Nordström should have stopped the shot. Fredrik Låsberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mats Nordström having to make a save. Fredrik Låsberg scored 0-3 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mats Nordström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredrik Låsberg in the 26th minute of play forced Chuba Chubba Akpom's goalkeeper Mats Nordström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Esbjörn Dalström to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Marko Jelm left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Chuba Chubba Akpom's Mats Nordström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Chuba Chubba Akpom from getting a goal against them.
