With a left leg Johnny Sjöman saved Långa.Bollar.På.Bengt from getting behind. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Ivar Burman sped through Långa.Bollar.På.Bengt's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Johnny Sjöman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Einar Pilblad in the 15th minute of play forced Långa.Bollar.På.Bengt's goalkeeper Johnny Sjöman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Långa.Bollar.På.Bengt's zone, Ivar Burman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johnny Sjöman came out of the goal and Ivar Burman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The corner led KopparnsJärnGäng's Jimmy Löfdahl to fire away a dangerous shot which Johnny Sjöman despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Långa.Bollar.På.Bengt's goalkeeper Johnny Sjöman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Johnny Sjöman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivar Burman's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. 30 minutes into the match, KopparnsJärnGäng's goalkeeper Lennart Månsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marko Jelm. Marko Jelm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lennart Månsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Fredrik Låsberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
