Spectators: 6798 (Terracing: 5798, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when David Åström took the kick off in the first half of the match. KopparnsJärnGäng's Lennart Månsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save KopparnsJärnGäng from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in KopparnsJärnGäng's zone, Isaac Ekblom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lennart Månsson came out of the goal and Isaac Ekblom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kristian Dahlberg kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After 15 minutes of play, KopparnsJärnGäng's David Åström made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sonny Vollander was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tolga Nihat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Åström in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sonny Vollander saved Hovås from getting behind. After 20 minutes, David Åström made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Hovås's Sonny Vollander tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Einar Pilblad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sonny Vollander having to interfere. Kristian Dahlberg hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute of the match Jens-Ove Erserman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lennart Månsson skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the Hovås defense, Jimmy Löfdahl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sonny Vollander. The Hovås fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sonny Vollander should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Tolga Nihat could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Lennart Månsson however easily saved by the left post. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by KopparnsJärnGäng's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jens-Ove Erserman was slow to take the kick. During this time Hovås's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Hovås getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Isaac Ekblom hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

David Åström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 55 minutes into the game, Jens-Ove Erserman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hovås's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KopparnsJärnGäng the free kick. Lennart Månsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tolga Nihat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by KopparnsJärnGäng's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jens-Ove Erserman was slow to take the kick. During this time Hovås's players had a chance to rest. Jens-Ove Erserman made a great header on Hovås's corner, it was just that KopparnsJärnGäng's Lennart Månsson managed to reach the ball for a save. Lennart Månsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Ekblom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lennart Månsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaac Ekblom went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Lennart Månsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Ivarsson in the 89th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hovås's Stefan Ivarsson got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Sonny Vollander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivar Burman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KopparnsJärnGäng played a much better game than Hovås and deserved their victory. The Hovås players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
