Spectators: 7792 (Terracing: 5845, Seating: 1792, VIP seats: 155) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sixten Wickander took the kick off in the first half of the match. A hard shot 4 in the game by Rickard Eriksson from a close distance when the talented Iwo Szotek managed to make a qualified save. Kvarnby IK's players were relieved. Iwo Szotek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurelian Biriș in the 5th minute. The nice shot from Rickard Eriksson in the 7thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Iwo Szotek had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Rickard Eriksson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rickard Eriksson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Iwo Szotek when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Rävlunda FF's Rickard Eriksson in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kvarnby IK's goalie prevented a goal. After 16 played minutes Rävlunda FF got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Åke Snell. With his leg Iwo Szotek managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Rävlunda FF's Rickard Eriksson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Marty Perryman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixten Wickander in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Kvarnby IK's goalkeeper Iwo Szotek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rickard Eriksson. Rickard Eriksson came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Iwo Szotek could save by the left post. Rickard Erikssons short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Iwo Szotek to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Aurelian Biriș recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Rävlunda FF's Vilgot Ahlkvist got a free kick in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixten Wickander in the 30th minute of play forced Rävlunda FF's goalkeeper Marty Perryman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iwo Szotek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rickard Eriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. When Tony Jonsson fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rävlunda FF's protests and gave Tony Jonsson a yellow card for diving instead. Rävlunda FF's Marty Perryman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Sander in the 34th minute of play. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rävlunda FF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gösta Nilsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Kvarnby IK's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Kvarnby IK's corner Gösta Nilsson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marty Perryman quite easily take care of the ball. Iwo Szotek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurelian Biriș went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Rickard Eriksson made the kick off in the second half. Marty Perryman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sixten Wickander in the 52nd minute. Rickard Eriksson scored 4-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iwo Szotek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Jens-Åke Snell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marty Perryman made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Sixten Wickander sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Rävlunda FF's Marty Perryman got control of the ball when Sixten Wickander tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aurelian Biriș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Kvarnby IK getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Oscar Kruuse hit a great ball. Kvarnby IK's Iwo Szotek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Österberg in the 64th minute of play. When Aurelian Biriș came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Rävlunda FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurelian Biriș couldn't finish the play. Rävlunda FF made a substitution. Nils Olsman replaced Alfred Österberg. Marty Perryman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Sander in the 68th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rickard Eriksson in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iwo Szotek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aurelian Biriș scored 5-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iwo Szotek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Rävlunda FF's Marty Perryman got control of the ball when Sixten Wickander tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rävlunda FF's Lennart Wallander was substituted for Tony Jonsson. Lennart Wallander kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. A hard shot by Gösta Nilsson from long distance, 80 minutes into the match, got Marty Perryman's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Marty Perryman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Sander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rävlunda FF's Marty Perryman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Rävlunda FF from getting a goal against them. After 87 minutes, Linus Flink mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kvarnby IK and the Rävlunda FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 87 played minutes Kvarnby IK got a freekick which was hit by Linus Flink. Iwo Szotek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jens-Åke Snell went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Aurelian Biriș struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Iwo Szotek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rävlunda FF. After some careless play in the Kvarnby IK defense, Aurelian Biriș kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iwo Szotek. The Kvarnby IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iwo Szotek should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Rävlunda FF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
