In the 5th minute IF Hille were awarded a corner. Jesper Häger went to the cornerflag to take it. IF Hille's Jesper Häger was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but 邓俊昆 in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jan-Ove Berg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kurt Njurenius's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils-Emil Billvall in the 12th minute of play forced THE LEOPARDS OF ZAIRE's goalkeeper 邓俊昆 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 邓俊昆 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils-Emil Billvall, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Oskar Bergfelt scored 2-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan-Ove Berg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26th minute Kurt Njurenius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Ove Berg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, IF Hille's goal looked a bit too open when Ivar Uggstedt came free, but Jan-Ove Berg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nils-Emil Billvall helped the player get up and apologised. After 38 played minutes IF Hille got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Emil Billvall. In the 42nd minute, Vincent Tillman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind THE LEOPARDS OF ZAIRE's goalkeeper 邓俊昆, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Ludvig Schanche fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored THE LEOPARDS OF ZAIRE's protests and gave Ludvig Schanche a yellow card for diving instead. Ludvig Schanche hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lennart Låsberg made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Kurt Njurenius cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Jan-Ove Berg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 85th match minute, THE LEOPARDS OF ZAIRE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludvig Schanche to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the match, THE LEOPARDS OF ZAIRE's Ivar Uggstedt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan-Ove Berg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Oskar Bergfelt kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. THE LEOPARDS OF ZAIRE were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
