Alvin Landin might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dorin Arsene. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvin Landin ran back to his position shaking his head. Efren Vega came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dorin Arsene could save by the left post. Mikkel Rygaard received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dorin Arsene came out and tried to block the shot, but Mikkel Rygaard slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 26th minute. Alvin Landin hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Karl-Erik Biörkman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Arnaud Verhaeghen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nyborgs FF's Dorin Arsene proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Nyborgs FF from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Nyborgs FF getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Sven Tillman hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karl-Erik Biörkman made a kick off. Isidro Lluques hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Arnaud Verhaeghen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from André Nordin went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claes Fransson during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Claes Fransson kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Hampus Beck charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hampus Beck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 69 minutes into the game, Efren Vega cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Dorin Arsene was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. André Nordin kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Efren Vega succeeded in the game's 73rd minute to get real power on a long shot . Nyborgs FF's Dorin Arsene hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 3-1! Efren Vega recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isidro Lluques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Joelintons F.C fans cheered their team off the field, for while Nyborgs FF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
