Jonas Sander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kim Haeger charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kim Haeger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th minute, Kim Haeger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lennart Låsberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Iwo Szotek made a huge save. 22 minutes in the game, Lennart Låsberg fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Iwo Szotek having to interfere. Jan-Ove Berg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Holger Siggesson, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. IF Hille's Jan-Ove Berg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixten Wickander in the 27th minute of play. Nils-Emil Billvall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 31 minutes, Jonas Sander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kvarnby IK and the IF Hille players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of IF Hille booed when Kvarnby IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Sander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aaron Åberg charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aaron Åberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aaron Åberg kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Sixten Wickander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kvarnby IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When Jonas Sander was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 40 minutes had been played. The supporters of IF Hille booed when Kvarnby IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Sander didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Roland Dalman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sixten Wickander to make the kick off. Björn Wennerquist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, IF Hille's Kim Haeger got a free kick in the 54th minute. When Sixten Wickander came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Kvarnby IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sixten Wickander couldn't finish the play. Holger Siggesson fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 64th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. The supporters of IF Hille booed when Kvarnby IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Björn Wennerquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute, one of IF Hille:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for IF Hille. Linus Flink received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jan-Ove Berg came out and tried to block the shot, but Linus Flink slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 82nd minute. A collision led to Kvarnby IK getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Linus Flink hit a great ball. Nils-Emil Billvall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. When the match was over Kvarnby IK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than IF Hille throughout the match.
