Spectators: 7675 (Terracing: 5757, Seating: 1765, VIP seats: 153) 6 minutes into the match, Nyborgs FF's goalkeeper Dorin Arsene had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gösta Nilsson. The crowd rose to their feet as Kvarnby IK's Sixten Wickander slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dorin Arsene. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sixten Wickander got free with Dorin Arsene in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 17 played minutes Kvarnby IK got a freekick which was hit by Konrad Lindgren. Iwo Szotek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Erik Biörkman, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Kvarnby IK's Björn Wennerquist pulled a muscle in his back after 26 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karl-Erik Biörkman during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kvarnby IK made a substitution. Ted Bern replaced Björn Wennerquist. In the 27th minute, Karl-Erik Biörkman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 28 played minutes, Kvarnby IK's Linus Flink shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dorin Arsene came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kvarnby IK reached it. When Nyborgs FF's Anders Myr in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kvarnby IK's goalie prevented a goal. Sixten Wickander received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dorin Arsene came out and tried to block the shot, but Sixten Wickander slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 34th minute. Jonas Sander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorin Arsene having to interfere. Anders Myr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Iwo Szotek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the game, Nyborgs FF's André Nordin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iwo Szotek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. A collision led to Kvarnby IK getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Joar Flink hit a great ball. Anders Myr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iwo Szotek having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sixten Wickander was the one to do the kick off. If Anders Myr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anders Myr blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iwo Szotek having to make a save. Iwo Szotek made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when André Nordin sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Nyborgs FF's Iwo Szotek threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Anders Myr, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 63rd minute, Ted Bern hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anders Myr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Nyborgs FF's Anders Myr in the 78th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Iwo Szotek was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Kvarnby IK through an amazing save. A collision led to Nyborgs FF getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Anders Myr hit a great ball. Nyborgs FF's Dorin Arsene played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Sander in the 81st minute of play. Oskar Hultstrand kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Åke Melberg hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute of the match Gösta Nilsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dorin Arsene showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kvarnby IK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
