Sixten Wickander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorin Arsene having to interfere. After 10 played minutes Kvarnby IK got a freekick which was hit by Linus Flink. In the 13th minute, Nyborgs FF's Anders Myr ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Iwo Szotek. Iwo Szotek yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Karl-Erik Biörkmans short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Iwo Szotek to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kvarnby IK's Linus Flink managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Linus Hasselqvist in the 25 minute of the game. In the 26th minute, Linus Flink got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Torbjörn Siöberg's late challenge caught a Kvarnby IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Torbjörn Siöberg helped the player get up and apologised. Torbjörn Siöberg hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Iwo Szotek made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Karl-Erik Biörkman sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Kvarnby IK getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Konrad Lindgren hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Kvarnby IK's Holger Siggesson got a free kick in the 38th minute. Karl-Erik Biörkman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iwo Szotek having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Kvarnby IK's goal looked a bit too open when Anders Myr came free, but Iwo Szotek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sixten Wickander stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Nyborgs FF defense, Sixten Wickander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dorin Arsene. The Nyborgs FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dorin Arsene should have stopped the shot. Kvarnby IK's attentive Sixten Wickander managed to snatch the ball when Torbjörn Siöberg made a throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game. Iwo Szotek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Nordin, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 77th minute Karl-Erik Biörkman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwo Szotek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixten Wickander in the 78th minute of play forced Nyborgs FF's goalkeeper Dorin Arsene to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kvarnby IK's Linus Flink managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Linus Hasselqvist in the 79 minute of the game. Linus Flink received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Dorin Arsene tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Nyborgs FF getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Anders Myr hit a great ball. Sixten Wickander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iwo Szotek came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Nyborgs FF's André Nordin. But to his dismay, André Nordin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Anders Myr recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nyborgs FF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
