After some careless play in the Nyborgs FF defense, Hampus Beck kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dorin Arsene. The Nyborgs FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dorin Arsene should have stopped the shot. Dorin Arsene took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikkel Rygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikkel Rygaard in the 12th minute of play forced Nyborgs FF's goalkeeper Dorin Arsene to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joelintons F.C's Arnaud Verhaeghen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anders Myr in the 14th minute of play. After some careless play in the Joelintons F.C defense, Anders Myr kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnaud Verhaeghen. The Joelintons F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnaud Verhaeghen should have stopped the shot. In the 20th minute Hampus Beck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorin Arsene saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Efren Vega cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Dorin Arsene was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 30 minutes into the match, Joelintons F.C's goalkeeper Arnaud Verhaeghen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl-Erik Biörkman. In the 39th minute, Sven Tillman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 40 minutes, Hampus Beck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Joelintons F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hampus Beck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mikkel Rygaard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dorin Arsene made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hampus Beck in the 46th minute of play. Claes Fransson charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claes Fransson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 48th minute, Claes Fransson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Åke Melberg hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Efren Vega took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dorin Arsene. Nyborgs FF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sven Tillman was shown his second yellow card after 62 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Dorin Arsene acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 63rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Efren Vega. Mikkel Rygaard charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Nyborgs FF were furious when Nils Ahlqvist was red carded, 69 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 68th minute, one of Nyborgs FF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nyborgs FF. The referee gave Joelintons F.C a penalty, 70 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Efren Vega, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Nyborgs FF's Dorin Arsene. 1-3. Torbjörn Siöberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edwin Glad hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Arnaud Verhaeghen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claes Fransson, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Nyborgs FF's Dorin Arsene played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hampus Beck in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute of the match, Mikkel Rygaard tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dorin Arsene saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The throw-in from Erling Bjursell in the 84th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Nyborgs FF's Linus Hasselqvist. After a rather tough play, Nyborgs FF's Anders Myr got a free kick in the 85th minute. After having played for 86 minutes, Efren Vega managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Joelintons F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Efren Vega was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Erling Bjursell in the 89th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Nyborgs FF's Linus Hasselqvist. Isidro Lluques ran back to his position shaking his head. The Joelintons F.C supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Joelintons F.C would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
