Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sokratis Bekas kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Deep mines of Moria getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Klas Västlund hit a great ball. Jan-Ove Berg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joacim Beckman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan-Ove Berg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sokratis Bekas in the 9th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, IF Hille's goal looked a bit too open when Klas Västlund came free, but Jan-Ove Berg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Conny Bäckström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan-Ove Berg was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Deep mines of Moria defense, Jesper Häger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henry Lundström. The Deep mines of Moria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henry Lundström should have stopped the shot. Jan-Ove Berg made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Sokratis Bekas sent off a good shot on target. In the 19th minute, Edgar Ståhlberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Klas Västlund took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jan-Ove Berg. IF Hille's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 22nd minute Joacim Beckman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Ove Berg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Joacim Beckman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Jan-Ove Berg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 27 minutes, Lennart Låsberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IF Hille's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lennart Låsberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the game's 30th minute Deep mines of Moria's Joacim Beckman took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Jan-Ove Berg and thus the score was 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart Låsberg in the 33rd minute of play forced Deep mines of Moria's goalkeeper Henry Lundström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Lennart Låsberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henry Lundström was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Conny Bäckström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Ove Berg having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lennart Låsberg was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart Låsberg in the 51st minute of play forced Deep mines of Moria's goalkeeper Henry Lundström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 52nd minute, Lennart Låsberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henry Lundström was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. After a rather tough play, IF Hille's Edgar Ståhlberg got a free kick in the 56th minute. Jan-Ove Berg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sokratis Bekas in the 59th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in IF Hille's zone, Conny Bäckström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan-Ove Berg came out of the goal and Conny Bäckström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roland Dalman succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-4 in the 65th playminute. The supporters of IF Hille booed when Deep mines of Moria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klas Västlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by IF Hille's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Klas Västlund was slow to take the kick. During this time Deep mines of Moria's players had a chance to rest. Deep mines of Moria's Klas Västlund was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jan-Ove Berg in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 79th minute Sokratis Bekas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Ove Berg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 80 minutes, Klas Västlund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deep mines of Moria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Klas Västlund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Lennart Låsberg came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the IF Hille fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lennart Låsberg couldn't finish the play. Joacim Beckman struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Jan-Ove Berg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deep mines of Moria. In the 87th minute, Sokratis Bekas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deep mines of Moria fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-4. IF Hille's Roland Dalman got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Klas Västlund came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Deep mines of Moria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Klas Västlund couldn't finish the play.
