Arsenal FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ingemar Bergfeldt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Vimmerby's Lázaro Lorencio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Vimmerby from getting a goal against them. If Joel Wallin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arsenal FC's Joar Jernberg was substituted for Xesus Coya. The Vimmerby manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Arsenal FC to win.
