Georg Godholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernan Bernal in the 40th minute of play. The FC Houten Klompen players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Shifen III were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fernan Bernal to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, FC Shifen III's goal looked a bit too open when Fernan Bernal came free, but Georg Godholm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Georg Godholm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernan Bernal's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. FC Shifen III's Georg Godholm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stellan Bergstedt in the 70th minute of play. Kevin Ellegaard came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Shifen III's Jacinto Cesario. But to his dismay, Jacinto Cesario quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Fossum got free with Kevin Ellegaard in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 90 minutes into the game, Martin Fossum recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kevin Ellegaard. Martin Fossum showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. FC Houten Klompen's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jacinto Cesario 94 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-5. The FC Houten Klompen supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Shifen III's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Shifen III.
