A collision led to Järnkaminer IF getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Vidar Tunander hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Lunden City's Jan-Ove Godholm tried to score from far away in the 4th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Sivert Wennerlund kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After having played for 12 minutes, Robert Beneth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Järnkaminer IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert Beneth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isac Andreasson kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Järnkaminer IF's goal looked a bit too open when Leif Hammarbäck came free, but Calle Karlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 minutes Järnkaminer IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jan-Ove Godholm who took care of the corner kick. Lunden City's Jan-Ove Godholm was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Calle Karlberg in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Sivert Wennerlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 25 minutes, Leif Hammarbäck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lunden City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leif Hammarbäck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leif Hammarbäck scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Calle Karlberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Järnkaminer IF's zone, Leif Hammarbäck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Calle Karlberg came out of the goal and Leif Hammarbäck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Leif Hammarbäck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lunden City's supporters rose to their feet, but Leif Hammarbäck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Calle Karlberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leif Hammarbäck hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. If Robert Beneth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Järnkaminer IF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lunden City were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Jan-Ove Godholm made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Leif Hammarbäck made a precise shot to the right of Calle Karlberg. Järnkaminer IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Lunden City's Jan-Ove Godholm got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Lunden City's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Lindell came free, but Emanuel Salqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Järnkaminer IF's Sven-Åke Lind got a free kick in the 59th minute. Järnkaminer IF's Robert Beneth got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emanuel Salqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilgot Vallman in the 70th minute of play. Järnkaminer IF's Calle Karlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leif Hammarbäck in the 79th minute of play. Calle Karlberg was a little too slow when Jan-Ove Godholm got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 0-4. After having played for 83 minutes, Francis Kosgei managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lunden City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francis Kosgei was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Jan-Ove Godholm came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Lunden City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Ove Godholm couldn't finish the play. 86 minutes into the match, Leif Hammarbäck dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Calle Karlberg, 0-5. Leif Hammarbäck kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Calle Karlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Ove Godholm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the match, Järnkaminer IF's goal looked a bit too open when Leif Hammarbäck came free, but Calle Karlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Järnkaminer IF's Sven-Åke Lind got a free kick in the 94th minute. Lunden City's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
