In the 6th minute Sten Hellkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvise Ascoli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Balsam BOIS were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Borrby RK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Albin Forsell took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Borrby RK's goalie and right to Alvin Persson. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Borrby RK's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 8 minutes, Alvin Persson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Balsam BOIS and the Borrby RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th minute, Alvin Persson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvise Ascoli was a little too slow when Sten Hellkvist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. Alvise Ascoli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Åke Söderman in the 12th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Balsam BOIS's Åke Söderman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alvise Ascoli. That made the score 2-0 after 14 minutes of play. Alvise Ascoli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sten Hellkvist in the 16th minute of the match. Åke Söderman succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 20th playminute. With a little luck, Borrby RK's Alvise Ascoli got control of the ball when Tony Wennersten tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 26 minutes Borrby RK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Albin Forsell who took care of the corner kick. Alvin Persson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alvise Ascoli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvin Persson in the 35th minute of the match. With a little luck, Borrby RK's Alvise Ascoli got control of the ball when Alvin Persson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Åke Söderman was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Borrby RK's goal looked a bit too open when Alvin Persson came free, but Alvise Ascoli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Alfred Lidström came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Borrby RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfred Lidström couldn't finish the play. In the 55th minute, Karl-Magnus Ekström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Borrby RK's goal looked a bit too open when Åke Söderman came free, but Alvise Ascoli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, William Lagerberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 60 minutes, Åke Söderman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balsam BOIS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Åke Söderman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62nd minute, Alvin Persson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Balsam BOIS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Balsam BOIS's Henning Hägglund was substituted for Sten Hellkvist. 73 minutes into the match, Henning Hägglund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alvise Ascoli. Borrby RK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henning Hägglund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Balsam BOIS made a substitution. Martin Wallander replaced Hans Eriksson. Alvise Ascoli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvin Persson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Åke Söderman made a precise shot to the right of Alvise Ascoli. Borrby RK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. The Borrby RK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvise Ascoli should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Balsam BOIS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
