Viktor Göransson's late challenge caught a Balsam BOIS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Viktor Göransson helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Juniorer getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Viktor Göransson hit a great ball. 4 minutes into the game, Sten Hellkvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Axel Berggren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Åke Söderman in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Axel Berggren saved Juniorer from getting behind. Åke Söderman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Axel Berggren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Balsam BOIS fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Balsam BOIS's Åke Söderman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 15 minutes into the match, Sten Hellkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Axel Berggren. Juniorer's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sten Hellkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 18th minute, Sten Hellkvist made a precise shot to the right of Axel Berggren. Juniorer's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sten Hellkvist in the 21st minute of play forced Juniorer's goalkeeper Axel Berggren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Balsam BOIS's Sten Hellkvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Axel Berggren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. The referee felt a red card was in order, 28 minutes into the game, when Hans Eriksson put in a rough tackle. In the 27th minute, one of Balsam BOIS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Balsam BOIS. After 29 minutes Balsam BOIS's goalkeeper Paul Vallgren managed, with a little bit of luck, save Tommy Barck's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. 29 minutes into the match, Tommy Barck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paul Vallgren. Balsam BOIS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tommy Barck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. After 32 minutes of play, Balsam BOIS's Tony Wennersten made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Axel Berggren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Axel Berggren came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Balsam BOIS's Åke Söderman. But to his dismay, Åke Söderman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-8. 48 minutes into the match, Tony Wennersten notched a goal, 1-9, to the right of Juniorer's Axel Berggren. Axel Berggren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-9 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jens-Ola Söderqwist was the one to do the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 59th minute by Åke Söderman got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Tommy Barck kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After 63 played minutes Juniorer got a freekick which was hit by Nicklas Wennersten. Balsam BOIS made a substitution. Henning Hägglund replaced Sten Hellkvist. After a rather tough play, Juniorer's Nicklas Wennersten got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute, Åke Söderman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Balsam BOIS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-11. After having played for 69 minutes, Richard Bergfeldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juniorer's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richard Bergfeldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Åke Söderman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Axel Berggren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Åke Söderman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Balsam BOIS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-12. Åke Söderman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Axel Berggren when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 77 minutes, Åke Söderman made it 1-13 with a short kick to the right side. Juniorer's Axel Berggren tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 84 minutes into the match, Albin Forsell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Axel Berggren. Juniorer's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albin Forsell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-15. Åke Södermans short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Axel Berggren to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Axel Berggren was a little too slow when Åke Söderman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 1-16. Åke Söderman in the 95thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Axel Berggren, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Åke Söderman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Axel Berggren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play.
