The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Gnaget Red Wings booed when Rock öl Vroll was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Verner Damm didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Gnaget Red Wings fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Gnaget Red Wings's Kent Lindgren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Aaron Dahlberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sivert Fjelde. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aaron Dahlberg ran back to his position shaking his head. When Björn Sörman fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gnaget Red Wings's protests and gave Björn Sörman a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Rock öl Vroll booed when Gnaget Red Wings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Björn Sörman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sivert Fjelde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Rosendahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kent Lindgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Sivert Fjelde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Stefan Engström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olle Smed hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After 28 minutes Rock öl Vroll's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marc Hedin who took care of the corner kick. When Karl Ferm fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rock öl Vroll's protests and gave Karl Ferm a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th match minute, Rock öl Vroll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl Ferm to maneuver through the defense. Sivert Fjelde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Rosendahl in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Rock öl Vroll's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Lindgren came free, but Sivert Fjelde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Marc Hedin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rock öl Vroll's Sivert Fjelde did a great save. Sivert Fjelde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kent Lindgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Klas Jönsätt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Aaron Dahlberg made the kick off in the second half. Sivert Fjelde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Lindgren in the 53rd minute of play. Kent Lindgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Sigvard Martinsson fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rock öl Vroll's protests and gave Sigvard Martinsson a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Gnaget Red Wings's Roger Rosendahl got a free kick in the 60th minute. Kent Lindgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Sivert Fjelde made a huge save. Magnus Dalkvist's late challenge caught a Gnaget Red Wings's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Magnus Dalkvist helped the player get up and apologised. Magnus Dalkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After 77 played minutes Rock öl Vroll got a freekick which was hit by Magnus Dalkvist. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl Ferm in the 85th minute of play forced Gnaget Red Wings's goalkeeper Jakob Odman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Karl Ferm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jakob Odman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Per Skräddare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sivert Fjelde made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Roger Rosendahl sent off a good shot on target. Ingvar Asmundsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Sivert Fjelde made a huge save. When Tom Forsman came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Gnaget Red Wings fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tom Forsman couldn't finish the play. Karl Ferm struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Jakob Odman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rock öl Vroll.
