In the 4th match minute, Taraps IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Öberg to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the game, Gnaget Red Wings's Aaron Dahlberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frank Kvick made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of Gnaget Red Wings booed when Taraps IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Björn Lindberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Roger Rosendahl notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Taraps IF's Frank Kvick. Frank Kvick was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Frank Kvick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Rosendahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Taraps IF's Frank Kvick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent Lindgren in the 23rd minute of play. Sebastian Öberg charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Öberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Taraps IF getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Sebastian Öberg hit a great ball. Taraps IF's Frank Kvick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Rosendahl in the 29th minute of play. Karl-Axel Bryngelsson hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 31st match minute, Gnaget Red Wings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ola Eklund to maneuver through the defense. Frank Kvick didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kent Lindgren went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Aaron Dahlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Kvick having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Taraps IF's Sebastian Öberg got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Taraps IF's zone, Kent Lindgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frank Kvick came out of the goal and Kent Lindgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stig-Åke Söderström to strike the kick off in the second half. Jakob Odman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stig-Åke Söderström's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. A collision led to Taraps IF getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Joachim Andreasson hit a great ball. Frank Kvick made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Aaron Dahlberg sent off a good shot on target. Frank Kvick was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Aaron Dahlberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aaron Dahlberg really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Frank Kvick was a little too slow when Roger Rosendahl got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 0-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roger Rosendahl got free with Frank Kvick in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frank Kvick made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Roger Rosendahl sent off a good shot on target. Frank Kvick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Telin in the 71st minute of play. Aaron Dahlberg came free with the goalkeeper in the 72nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Frank Kvick could save by the left post. Jörgen Hybbert was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 73 minutes into the match. In the 73rd match minute, Taraps IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jörgen Hybbert to maneuver through the defense. Gnaget Red Wings's Svante Smitt was substituted for Björn Sörman. Jörgen Hybbert hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Sebastian Öberg kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Gnaget Red Wings made a substitution.
