Husby FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Göran Fransson charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Göran Fransson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 31 played minutes Husby FK got a freekick which was hit by Göran Fransson. Husby FK's Zygmunt Narbut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joachim Sjögren in the 33rd minute of play. Zygmunt Narbut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peder Rönn, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute Basilio Jerrold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damazy Chwalkiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Göta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Basilio Jerrold came free, but Damazy Chwalkiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Rutger Lindell cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Gustav Anundsson got his second yellow card in the match during the 86th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rutger Lindell got free with Zygmunt Narbut in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Magnus Grelsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Zygmunt Narbut made a huge save. The Husby FK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Göta FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Göta FC.
