Cristos Alonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mats Lindgren having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Carl Björck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 12 played minutes Schlurp IF got a freekick which was hit by Boris Myr. Kinnarumma IFK's 徐康风 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattias Henriksson in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute Dick Smefeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 徐康风 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 minutes of play, Schlurp IF's Ladislao Isadore made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 徐康风 was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kinnarumma IFK's Carl Björck managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bengt Björk in the 21 minute of the game. 徐康风 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mattias Henriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kinnarumma IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sten Strömqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Schlurp IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sten Strömqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Kinnarumma IFK's Cristos Alonso got a free kick in the 88th minute. 徐康风 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sten Strömqvist in the 89th minute. Kinnarumma IFK's Gösta Tomasson got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Schlurp IF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
