The Sandhem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Harald Holmberg should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Jan-Erik Jernberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Harald Holmberg was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. 36 minutes into the game, Fredrik Markusson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. After a rather tough play, Sandhem's Alf Larsfält got a free kick in the 44th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Harald Holmberg had in the 63rdth minute some difficulties stopping Walter Johansson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sandhem's zone, Jan-Erik Jernberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harald Holmberg came out of the goal and Jan-Erik Jernberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 67 in the game by Jan-Erik Jernberg from a close distance when the talented Harald Holmberg managed to make a qualified save. Sandhem's players were relieved. Abel Flor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leif Mager in the 70th minute of the match. Americo Txartiko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Harald Holmberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Harald Holmberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dick Ekegren went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. In the 87th minute, Jan-Erik Jernberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stadsbornas IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Harald Holmberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Americo Txartiko in the 93rd minute of play. Harald Holmberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sakarias Skark in the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Sandhem's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jan-Erik Jernberg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Stadsbornas IF played a much better game than Sandhem and deserved their victory. The Sandhem players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
