After 5 minutes Norra Sandby FF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ove Dahlberg who took care of the corner kick. Ove Dahlberg made a great header on Sandhem's corner, it was just that Norra Sandby FF's Uba Uba managed to reach the ball for a save. After 9 played minutes Sandhem got a freekick which was hit by Peder Månsson. Manfred Vacker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Harald Holmberg having to make a save. After having played for 16 minutes, Manfred Vacker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Norra Sandby FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manfred Vacker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 17thth minute of the game Manfred Vacker who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sandhem's Harald Holmberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edgar Michnik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Harald Holmberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl-Michael Forsberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Uba Uba made a huge save. When Edgar Michnik came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Norra Sandby FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Michnik couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute, Evert Wester hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uba Uba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Larsfält, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th match minute, Sandhem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alf Larsfält to maneuver through the defense. Edgar Michnik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harald Holmberg having to interfere. The supporters of Norra Sandby FF booed when Sandhem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alf Larsfält didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harald Holmberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manfred Vacker's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Manfred Vacker scored 0-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Harald Holmberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leif Mager made a kick off. 50 minutes into the game, Evert Wester was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Norra Sandby FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sandhem the free kick. After a rather tough play, Norra Sandby FF's Evert Wester got a free kick in the 51st minute. Uba Uba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Michael Forsberg in the 52nd minute of the match. Norra Sandby FF's Edgar Michnik got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Uba Uba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leif Mager, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the game, Norra Sandby FF's Manfred Vacker nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Harald Holmberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Edgar Michnik took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Harald Holmberg to make any attempt to save it. Manfred Vackers short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Harald Holmberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 69 minutes, Manfred Vacker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Norra Sandby FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manfred Vacker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leif Mager fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uba Uba having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Magnus Karlsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uba Uba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leif Mager in the 79th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Manfred Vacker had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Harald Holmberg. Sandhem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manfred Vacker was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Edgar Michnik blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Harald Holmberg having to make a save. Sandhem's Harald Holmberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Michnik in the 87th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Edgar Michnik left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Norra Sandby FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. After 91 played minutes Norra Sandby FF got a freekick which was hit by Magnus Karlsson. Edgar Michnik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
