In the 78th match minute, Blåränderna DIF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Måns Wallin to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 81 minutes, Mikael Olsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pattaya Dolphins F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mikael Olsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Blåränderna DIF's Dinu Mihai quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Karl-Michael Hammarbäck, made in the 85th minute of the game. Blåränderna DIF's Vykan Víkingsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Blåränderna DIF from getting a goal against them. Pattaya Dolphins F.C played a much better game than Blåränderna DIF and deserved their victory. The Blåränderna DIF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
