Michael Wållander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birger Dahlman in the 6th minute of play. Enrique Saura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Michael Wållander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blåränderna DIF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Leif Dahlgren fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Blåränderna DIF's protests and gave Leif Dahlgren a yellow card for diving instead. After 21 played minutes Blåränderna DIF got a freekick which was hit by Leif Dahlgren. Michael Wållander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimmy Rajala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Nobels IF's goal looked a bit too open when Henrik Lindgren came free, but Arvin Skager reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konrad Hellbom in the 25th minute of play forced Blåränderna DIF's goalkeeper Michael Wållander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 minutes of play, Nobels IF's Philip Rudkvist made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 36th minute Philip Rudkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Wållander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michael Wållander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konrad Hellbom in the 43rd minute of play. After 45 played minutes Blåränderna DIF got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Lindgren. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manfred Tunander made a kick off. Manfred Tunander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Wållander having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Arvid Bodin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michael Wållander. Blåränderna DIF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arvid Bodin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Michael Wållander made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Philip Rudkvist sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manfred Tunander in the 59th minute of play forced Blåränderna DIF's goalkeeper Michael Wållander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the game, Philip Rudkvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Michael Wållander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Philip Rudkvist kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Michael Wållander. That made the score 0-6 in the 67 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Blåränderna DIF's zone, Dino Poljanić stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michael Wållander came out of the goal and Dino Poljanić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manfred Tunander in the 72nd minute of play forced Blåränderna DIF's goalkeeper Michael Wållander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michael Wållander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfred Tunander in the 73rd minute of play. Nobels IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jimmy Rajala in the 75th minute. Nobels IF's Jimmy Rajala was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Michael Wållander in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 77th minute, Philip Rudkvist made a precise shot to the right of Michael Wållander. Blåränderna DIF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Philip Rudkvist took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michael Wållander. Michael Wållander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Michael Wållander was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Manfred Tunander showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 86 minute of play. Blåränderna DIF's Michael Wållander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Blåränderna DIF from getting a goal against them. 93 minutes into the match, Blåränderna DIF's goalkeeper Michael Wållander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Konrad Hellbom. Nobels IF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
