The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the match, Blåränderna DIF's goal looked a bit too open when Ola Andersson came free, but Michael Wållander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blåränderna DIF's Michael Wållander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Erik Erserman in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute Måns Wallin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Billberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vistabergs FF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sixten Kellberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Blåränderna DIF's players had a chance to rest. In the 17th match minute, Blåränderna DIF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Lindgren to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, Birger Termander had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michael Wållander. Blåränderna DIF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Birger Termander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 23 minutes into the match, Blåränderna DIF's goal looked a bit too open when Ola Andersson came free, but Michael Wållander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven-Erik Erserman hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Michael Wållander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Ström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Blåränderna DIF's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Erik Erserman came free, but Michael Wållander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute Sven-Erik Erserman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Wållander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven-Erik Erserman in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michael Wållander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Viggo Vennerström made in the 33rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Vistabergs FF's Jörgen Juhlin. 36 minutes into the match, Blåränderna DIF's goal looked a bit too open when Birger Termander came free, but Michael Wållander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute Ove Sellberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Wållander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edwin Myhr was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 40 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of Vistabergs FF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Blåränderna DIF:s goal. Emanuel Billberg went to the wrong direction when Deniz Čiček was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Vistabergs FF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ola Andersson in the 45th minute. A nice corner shot did that Ola Andersson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Michael Wållander quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Vistabergs FF's Emanuel Billberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Vistabergs FF from getting a goal against them. After the first half Vistabergs FF were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tommy Ström was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes Blåränderna DIF got a freekick which was hit by Måns Wallin. In the 56th minute Carl Åkesson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Billberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Henrik Lindgren came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Blåränderna DIF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrik Lindgren couldn't finish the play. In the 57th minute, Birger Termander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ola Andersson struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Michael Wållander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vistabergs FF. Carl Åkesson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Emanuel Billberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommy Ström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Deniz Čiček made in the 67th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Johannes Klementsson however managed to control. Vistabergs FF's Ola Andersson got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Blåränderna DIF's Carl Åkesson got a free kick in the 70th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Blåränderna DIF's zone, Ola Andersson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michael Wållander came out of the goal and Ola Andersson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the match, Måns Wallin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emanuel Billberg. In the 80th minute, Ove Sellberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Birger Termander kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Emanuel Billberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Måns Wallin in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 83rdth minute of the game Måns Wallin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vistabergs FF's Emanuel Billberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 85th minute, Sven-Erik Erserman fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Michael Wållander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommy Ström, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. If Tommy Ström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
