After a defensive mix-up in Blåränderna DIF's zone, Ludwig Henriksson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michael Wållander came out of the goal and Ludwig Henriksson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 6 minutes, Henrik Lindgren made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Hudiksvalls United's Eric Asklund tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 12 minutes into the game, Blåränderna DIF's Leif Dahlgren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eric Asklund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Eric Asklund made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Henrik Lindgren sent off a good shot on target. When Ludwig Henriksson came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Hudiksvalls United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ludwig Henriksson couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Hudiksvalls United defense, Måns Wallin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eric Asklund. The Hudiksvalls United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eric Asklund should have stopped the shot. Måns Wallin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Eric Asklund made a huge save. 26 minutes into the game, Henrik Lindgren recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eric Asklund. Henrik Lindgren showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. In the 29th minute, Måns Wallin made a precise shot to the right of Eric Asklund. Hudiksvalls United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 33rd minute, Henrik Lindgren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eric Asklund was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. In the 36th minute Henrik Lindgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Asklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 minutes, Ove Sundén mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blåränderna DIF and the Hudiksvalls United players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Hudiksvalls United booed when Blåränderna DIF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ove Sundén didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henrik Lindgren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eric Asklund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Måns Wallin went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. After 57 minutes of play, Blåränderna DIF's Måns Wallin made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eric Asklund was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 60 played minutes Hudiksvalls United got a freekick which was hit by Charlie Vestberg. 64 minutes into the match, Henrik Lindgren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eric Asklund. Hudiksvalls United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henrik Lindgren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. In the 67th minute Sixten Kellberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Asklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charlie Vestberg lost his temper 71 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 70th minute, one of Hudiksvalls United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hudiksvalls United. In the 73rd minute there was a penalty for Blåränderna DIF. Måns Wallin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Eric Asklund. 11-0. Eric Asklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leif Dahlgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After 85 minutes of play, Blåränderna DIF's Måns Wallin made it 12-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eric Asklund was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Henrik Lindgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Måns Wallin scored 13-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eric Asklund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Michael Wållander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludwig Henriksson in the 97th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Blåränderna DIF were the better team. Blåränderna DIF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
