The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Sune Kellberg put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Mané Netto. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hising Island FC's goalkeeper Mané Netto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pattaya Dolphins F.C's Sune Kellberg got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the game, Sune Kellberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Mané Netto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sune Kellberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Mané Netto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomas Johansson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mané Netto came out and tried to block the shot, but Thomas Johansson slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 30th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sune Kellberg in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mané Netto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hising Island FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Karl-Michael Hammarbäck was slow to take the kick. During this time Pattaya Dolphins F.C's players had a chance to rest. In the 41stth minute of the game Sune Kellberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hising Island FC's Mané Netto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Sune Kellberg sped through Hising Island FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mané Netto. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that Sune Kellberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mané Netto was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Mikael Olsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mané Netto having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikael Olsson in the 57th minute of play forced Hising Island FC's goalkeeper Mané Netto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Sune Kellberg came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Pattaya Dolphins F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sune Kellberg couldn't finish the play. Hising Island FC's Mané Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sune Kellberg in the 62nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pattaya Dolphins F.C's Claes Örnberg got a free kick in the 63rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matthias Nordstedt got free with Witalis Merski in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 74 played minutes Hising Island FC got a freekick which was hit by Andrzej Czech. After a defensive mix-up in Hising Island FC's zone, Sune Kellberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mané Netto came out of the goal and Sune Kellberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mané Netto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sune Kellberg in the 78th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mikael Olsson in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mané Netto saved Hising Island FC from getting behind. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Sune Kellberg sped through Hising Island FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mané Netto. After 89th play minutes Sune Kellberg shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Mané Netto and just under the crossbar into goal. If Mats Målare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pattaya Dolphins F.C had won after a very even match.
