Marcelinho Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Blom having to interfere. Tommy Eliassons short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Jack Blom to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 倪鹰亮 hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Marcelinho Gonçalves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcelinho Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Marcelinho Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dan Blom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelinho Gonçalves in the 46th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 50th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rambos Pöjkar's goalkeeper Dan Blom, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by 倪鹰亮 in the 53rd minute of play forced Newcastle United FC's goalkeeper Jack Blom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 57 minutes, Gustav Thorsberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 72nd minute Tommy Eliasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jack Blom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Rambos Pöjkar's Dan Blom got control of the ball when Osvald Bergqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line.
