Åke Stål made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Skålberg in the 2nd minute of play. Charlie Jansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 4 minutes into the game, Fredric Tingberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stockholm Snakes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hartlepool the free kick. Fredric Tingberg kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Bengt Blixt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wiktor Westerstrand came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Hartlepool's Hasan Hüseyin Orak. But to his dismay, Hasan Hüseyin Orak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The Hartlepool fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Hartlepool's Hasan Hüseyin Orak looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 21 minutes into the match, Hartlepool's Hasan Hüseyin Orak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wiktor Westerstrand narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 21st minute, Hasan Hüseyin Orak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wiktor Westerstrand was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Hasan Hüseyin Orak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hartlepool's supporters rose to their feet, but Hasan Hüseyin Orak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wiktor Westerstrand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wiktor Westerstrand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hasan Hüseyin Orak in the 27th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Hasan Hüseyin Orak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Wiktor Westerstrand was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 39 minutes, Bengt Blixt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hartlepool and the Stockholm Snakes players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bengt Blixt hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After 41 minutes of play, Hartlepool's Hasan Hüseyin Orak made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wiktor Westerstrand was left in no man's land by his defense there! 46 minutes into the match, Stockholm Snakes's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias Tingelholm came free, but Wiktor Westerstrand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Johan Sjöberg made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Fredric Tingberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Hasan Hüseyin Orak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hartlepool's supporters rose to their feet, but Hasan Hüseyin Orak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Åke Stål showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Rydelius, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Charlie Jansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Wiktor Westerstrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wiktor Westerstrand was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Charlie Jansson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Charlie Jansson really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hasan Hüseyin Orak in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wiktor Westerstrand saved Stockholm Snakes from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Hasan Hüseyin Orak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hartlepool's supporters rose to their feet, but Hasan Hüseyin Orak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Charlie Jansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Jan Jakisz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ralf Rask kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Hartlepool's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
