Freddie Kruuse hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Marcelinho Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the match, Gubbängen BK's Claes Kvalfält sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jack Blom narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marcelinho Gonçalves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute of the match, Marcelinho Gonçalves got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marko Boberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Marcelinho Gonçalves took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Marko Boberg to make any attempt to save it. Marko Boberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casper Sundström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute, Casper Sundström fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Marko Boberg, passed just outside the right post. 34 minutes into the match, Gubbängen BK's goalkeeper Marko Boberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcelinho Gonçalves. Marcelinho Gonçalves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Marko Boberg made a huge save. Newcastle United FC's Jack Blom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddie Kruuse in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casper Sundström in the 40th minute of play forced Gubbängen BK's goalkeeper Marko Boberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 43 played minutes Newcastle United FC got a freekick which was hit by Mats Hård. In the 47th match minute, Newcastle United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by César de Senna to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Freddie Kruuse stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Gubbängen BK's Freddie Kruuse got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 57th minute Marcelinho Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marko Boberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casper Sundström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Marko Boberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Gubbängen BK's goal looked a bit too open when Casper Sundström came free, but Marko Boberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jack Blom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximilian Blomqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the last second Jack Blom throw himself and got hold of the ball when Maximilian Blomqvist in the 88thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 89th minute, Magno Maltha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marko Boberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelinho Gonçalves, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. César de Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Newcastle United FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gubbängen BK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
