The supporters of AIK 1891 booed when Stockholm Snakes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Jakisz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Johan Sjöberg succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 38th playminute. After a defensive mix-up in AIK 1891's zone, Robert Skålberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 45th minute, one of Stockholm Snakes:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Stockholm Snakes. The referee gave AIK 1891 a penalty, 46 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Emanuel Uter, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Stockholm Snakes's Wiktor Westerstrand. 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The audience was convinced that Johan Sjöberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michael Bodin was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johan Sjöberg in the 76th minute of play forced AIK 1891's goalkeeper Michael Bodin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute Bertil Göransson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Bodin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stockholm Snakes's Wiktor Westerstrand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Uter in the 81st minute of play. The corner led AIK 1891's Emanuel Uter to fire away a dangerous shot which Wiktor Westerstrand despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Michael Bodin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Johan Sjöberg went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score.
