FC Bad Santas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Järla IF the free kick. The supporters of Järla IF booed when FC Bad Santas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edvin Lundgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Bokelund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 27thth minute of the game Alex Bokelund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Bad Santas's Joar Bremming was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joar Bremming made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Bokelund in the 28th minute of play. Oskar Sundén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Björn Joensson in the 38th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Jan Kellbom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Järla IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan Kellbom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joar Bremming breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Järla IF were furious when Viden Tingarov was red carded, 46 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 46th minute of the game. One of Järla IF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Bad Santas:s goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Mattias Thedin made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eskil Lindgren in the 56th minute of play forced Järla IF's goalkeeper Oskar Sundén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claes Landin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Oskar Sundén tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Ove Lång took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Joar Bremming to make any attempt to save it. Mattias Thedin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 79 minutes into the game, Mattias Thedin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Joar Bremming was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Bad Santas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Cláudio Mineiro scored to the left of an out of position Joar Bremming, making the score, 1-5. If Cláudio Mineiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
