After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Inge Brask managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goteborg's supporters rose to their feet, but Inge Brask was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ralf Kalfhage breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20th minute Thor Stabbe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johan Hellsing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Tauer of Power's Ralf Kalfhage got control of the ball when Krister Westerberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Johan Hellsing came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Tauer of Power's Thor Stabbe. But to his dismay, Thor Stabbe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Johan Hellsing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Lång in the 28th minute of the match. If Thor Stabbe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albin Hääger in the 35th minute of play forced Goteborg's goalkeeper Johan Hellsing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Tauer of Power's Thor Stabbe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Johan Hellsing made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Andreas Vallander might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Johan Hellsing. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andreas Vallander ran back to his position shaking his head. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thor Stabbe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 0-3 became the score in the 52nd minute when Thor Stabbe elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 55thth minute of the game Thor Stabbe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Goteborg's Johan Hellsing was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thor Stabbe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Goteborg's Johan Hellsing proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Goteborg from getting a goal against them. In the 83rd match minute, Tauer of Power was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sten Fogel to maneuver through the defense. Nils Lång kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Jarl Backlund charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jarl Backlund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Tauer of Power supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tauer of Power would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
