After 26 minutes, Aaron Hermansson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trabzonspor FF and the Halkus Valkus BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ovidiu Spirea got free with Ulf Utter in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Halkus Valkus BK's zone, Adrian Sandell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jiří Grim came out of the goal and Adrian Sandell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Halkus Valkus BK's Sune Sjöberg got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Halkus Valkus BK getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Sune Sjöberg hit a great ball.

The wind increased when Malte Danielsson made the kick off in the second half. During the 51st minute of the match Aaron Hermansson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Aaron Hermansson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 52 played minutes Trabzonspor FF got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Hermansson. In the 53rd minute, Ovidiu Spirea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adrian Sandell charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrian Sandell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adrian Sandell hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Halkus Valkus BK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
