After a defensive mix-up in Tekie-Taka's zone, Flóki Ólafsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lawrence Sammut came out of the goal and Flóki Ólafsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flóki Ólafsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lawrence Sammut. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Flóki Ólafsson ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 11 minutes, Jens-Erik Löfgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tekie-Taka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jens-Erik Löfgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Eddie Sörman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 17 minutes of play, Fomac FK's Eddie Sörman made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lawrence Sammut was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Tekie-Taka getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Christoffer Browall hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the game, Eddie Sörman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Lawrence Sammut was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flóki Ólafsson in the 26th minute of play forced Tekie-Taka's goalkeeper Lawrence Sammut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lawrence Sammut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddie Sörman in the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Fomac FK's goal looked a bit too open when Jakob Alberg came free, but Erland Söderberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Jakob Alberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erland Söderberg. Fomac FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jakob Alberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jakob Alberg in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erland Söderberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lawrence Sammut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddie Sörman in the 35th minute of play. A collision led to Fomac FK getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Armando Paraibano hit a great ball. The supporters of Tekie-Taka booed when Fomac FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Vollander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flóki Ólafsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gilbert Asmundsson fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tekie-Taka's protests and gave Gilbert Asmundsson a yellow card for diving instead. Gilbert Asmundsson kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Lawrence Sammut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddie Sörman in the 46th minute of play. Eddie Sörman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Lawrence Sammut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jakob Alberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Tekie-Taka's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Eddie Sörman scored to the left of an out of position Lawrence Sammut, making the score, 1-5. Erland Söderberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakob Alberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddie Sörman in the 56th minute of play forced Tekie-Taka's goalkeeper Lawrence Sammut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Anders Berglund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eddie Sörman got free with Lawrence Sammut in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lawrence Sammut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flóki Ólafsson in the 72nd minute of the match. Lawrence Sammut made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Eddie Sörman sent off a good shot on target. In the 74th minute Fomac FK were awarded a corner. Tobias Stenström went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Fomac FK's corner Tobias Stenström fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lawrence Sammut quite easily take care of the ball. Fomac FK's Peder Rolfsson was substituted for Flóki Ólafsson. 83 minutes into the match, Fomac FK's Eddie Sörman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lawrence Sammut narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Eddie Sörman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lawrence Sammut. That made the score 1-6 in the 85 minute of play. Christoffer Browall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 89 minutes of play, Fomac FK's Peder Rolfsson made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lawrence Sammut was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lawrence Sammut made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eddie Sörman in the 93rd minute. 97 minutes into the game, Fomac FK's Peder Rolfsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lawrence Sammut made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-8. The Tekie-Taka supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Fomac FK's performance. The match ended with a win for Fomac FK.
