Spectators: 7706 (Terracing: 5781, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 153) Kurt Bure made the kick off and thus started the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicu Panaite got free with Arvin Ekerot in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 10 minutes into the match, Sollebrunn IF's goal looked a bit too open when Geraldo Trullols came free, but Dag Säfström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute, Geraldo Trullols ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dag Säfström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 16 minutes, Jan-Ove Fagrell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sollebrunn IF and the Benknotorna players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th minute, Jan-Ove Fagrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Bure in the 20th minute of play forced Sollebrunn IF's goalkeeper Dag Säfström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd match minute, Benknotorna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Oskar Pihlwall to maneuver through the defense. Sollebrunn IF's Nicu Panaite shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 22nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Arvin Ekerot but with some difficulty. Geraldo Trullols received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Dag Säfström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicu Panaite came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Arvin Ekerot could save by the left post. In the 27th minute of the match, Kaj Bengtsson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arvin Ekerot saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Kurt Bure had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Sollebrunn IF's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Bure came free, but Dag Säfström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute of the match, Nicu Panaite got a very nice opportunity to score, but Arvin Ekerot was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 38 played minutes Benknotorna got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Oskar Pihlwall. If Casper Norberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Benknotorna defense, Jan-Ove Fagrell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arvin Ekerot. The Benknotorna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arvin Ekerot should have stopped the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicu Panaite stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Benknotorna got a freekick which was hit by Kurt Bure. After 51 minutes of play, Sollebrunn IF's Nicu Panaite made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arvin Ekerot was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Kurt Bure managed to get in a good position for a shot. Benknotorna's supporters rose to their feet, but Kurt Bure was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dag Säfström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustav Siöberg struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Dag Säfström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Benknotorna. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Bure in the 62nd minute of play forced Sollebrunn IF's goalkeeper Dag Säfström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Sollebrunn IF's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Bure came free, but Dag Säfström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustav Siöberg struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Dag Säfström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Benknotorna. Benknotorna's Arvin Ekerot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaj Bengtsson in the 79th minute of play. Benknotorna's Geraldo Trullols got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Benknotorna getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Kurt Bure hit a great ball. Nicu Panaite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arvin Ekerot having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Benknotorna players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
