IFK Knislinge's Leo Deckbergh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jon Täman in the 13th minute of play. Robert Frisck didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Henry Lidberg went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Bernt Sander kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Robert Frisck. That made the score 3-0 in the 20 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arvid Qvalfeldt in the 28th minute of play forced IFK Knislinge's goalkeeper Leo Deckbergh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernt Sander got free with Robert Frisck in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Henry Lidberg scored 4-0 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robert Frisck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Jon Täman came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Skagersvik fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jon Täman couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice moves Bernt Sander could shoot a difficult shot in the 45th minute, which Robert Frisck however easily saved by the left post. If Gunnar Bergqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gunnar Bergqvist was the one to do the kick off. In the 95th minute, Lucas Rosendal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The IFK Knislinge fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Skagersvik's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
