Casper Norberg hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Dag Säfström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Bergqvist in the 3rd minute of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Sollebrunn IF's goal looked a bit too open when Ingemar Billberg came free, but Dag Säfström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan-Ove Fagrell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Skagersvik booed when Sollebrunn IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olov Sundström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute, Kaj Bengtsson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Robert Frisck, passed just outside the right post. Jan-Ove Fagrell hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Kaj Bengtsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Robert Frisck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gunnar Bergqvist in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dag Säfström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Skagersvik's Andreas Majman got a free kick in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Ove Fagrell in the 24th minute of play forced Skagersvik's goalkeeper Robert Frisck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sollebrunn IF's Dag Säfström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jon Täman in the 25th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jon Täman in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Kaj Bengtsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Ingemar Billberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skagersvik's supporters rose to their feet, but Ingemar Billberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dag Säfström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andreas Majman hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Robert Frisck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaj Bengtsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Jon Täman made a precise shot to the right of Dag Säfström. Sollebrunn IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Arvid Qvalfeldt hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gunnar Bergqvist to strike the kick off in the second half. 63 minutes into the match, Skagersvik's goal looked a bit too open when Nicu Panaite came free, but Robert Frisck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arvid Qvalfeldt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dag Säfström having to make a save. A hard shot 69 in the game by Ingemar Billberg from a close distance when the talented Dag Säfström managed to make a qualified save. Sollebrunn IF's players were relieved. In the 73rdth minute of the game Gunnar Bergqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sollebrunn IF's Dag Säfström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dag Säfström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arvid Qvalfeldt in the 74th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Sollebrunn IF's Kaj Bengtsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robert Frisck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Jan-Ove Fagrell hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Robert Frisck came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Sollebrunn IF's Nicu Panaite. But to his dismay, Nicu Panaite quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 94th minute of the match Henning Aspengren shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dag Säfström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
