Orvar Mikaelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernt Sander, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. The IFK Knislinge fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when IFK Knislinge's Bernt Sander looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Carmine Bomba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Esbjörn Berggren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Orvar Mikaelsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Lidberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Cucumber's Norberto Aulestia got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Henry Lidberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernt Sander took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Orvar Mikaelsson. Orvar Mikaelsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Lidberg in the 33rd minute of play forced FC Cucumber's goalkeeper Orvar Mikaelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute of the match, Norberto Aulestia tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Leo Deckbergh saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Carmine Bomba struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Leo Deckbergh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Cucumber. Carmine Bomba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Norberto Aulestia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Deckbergh having to interfere. Carmine Bomba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Leo Deckbergh made a huge save. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

FC Cucumber were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after IFK Knislinge's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Björn Nilsson took the corner. Leo Deckbergh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Aulestia in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Herbert Sjöö hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Cucumber's Orvar Mikaelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Lidberg in the 73rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carmine Bomba in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leo Deckbergh prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Norberto Aulestia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Cucumber's Filiph Dalman was substituted for Herbert Sjöö. IFK Knislinge's Leo Deckbergh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sakarias Ryberg in the 92nd minute of play.
