In the 11th minute Casper Norberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Lundgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Sollebrunn IF's goalkeeper Dag Säfström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Geraldo Trullols. A collision led to Benknotorna getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Johan Vall hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicu Panaite in the 17th minute of play forced Benknotorna's goalkeeper Peter Lundgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kaj Bengtsson during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kaj Bengtsson hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Geraldo Trullols could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Dag Säfström made a huge save. When Benknotorna's Kenneth Majman in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sollebrunn IF's goalie prevented a goal. Sten Nordstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. If Kaj Bengtsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Sollebrunn IF's Jan-Ove Fagrell got a free kick in the 35th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Nicu Panaite had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Peter Lundgren. Benknotorna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicu Panaite was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kurt Bure made a kick off. A collision led to Benknotorna getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Geraldo Trullols hit a great ball. Johan Vall's late challenge caught a Sollebrunn IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Johan Vall helped the player get up and apologised. Johan Vall kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. With a little luck, Benknotorna's Peter Lundgren got control of the ball when Nicu Panaite tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jan-Ove Fagrell charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jan-Ove Fagrell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Benknotorna's Lakis Mendrinos was substituted for Ted Apelqvist. Jan-Ove Fagrell hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the match, Sollebrunn IF's goal looked a bit too open when Kenneth Majman came free, but Dag Säfström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Sollebrunn IF defense, Kenneth Majman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dag Säfström. The Sollebrunn IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dag Säfström should have stopped the shot. Jörgen Lundqvist took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Peter Lundgren. Benknotorna's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 83 played minutes Sollebrunn IF got a freekick which was hit by Kaj Bengtsson. 85 minutes into the match, Kurt Bure had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dag Säfström. Sollebrunn IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kurt Bure was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Geraldo Trullols fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dag Säfström having to interfere. Benknotorna's Kurt Bure got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
