After a rather tough play, Fotbolls Grisarna's Sverker Lange got a free kick in the 25th minute. Kalle Stål could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Sven-Olof Tunander made a huge save. 谢冰适 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingemar Fransson in the 29th minute of the match. Sven-Olof Tunander was a little too slow when Oscar Hellsing got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 1-0. Sven-Olof Tunander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kalle Stål, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kalle Stål in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven-Olof Tunander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jerry Lundgren hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After 43 played minutes, Fotbolls Grisarna's Carl Ruppen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper 谢冰适 came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fotbolls Grisarna reached it. Ingemar Fransson might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 谢冰适. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ingemar Fransson ran back to his position shaking his head. Sven-Olof Tunander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Hellsing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kalle Stål was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Fotbolls Grisarna's zone, Kalle Stål stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Olof Tunander came out of the goal and Kalle Stål tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 谢冰适 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingemar Fransson in the 54th minute of the match. 谢冰适 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingemar Fransson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Göteborg's Lukas Fogel quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fred Josefsson, made in the 60th minute of the game. In the 66th match minute, Göteborg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ragnar Botvidsson to maneuver through the defense. After 67 played minutes Göteborg got a freekick which was hit by Ragnar Botvidsson. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Göteborg! When the match had been going on for 71 minutes, Fotbolls Grisarna's Carl Ruppen got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of 谢冰适. When Henric Västlund fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fotbolls Grisarna's protests and gave Henric Västlund a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd minute, Henric Västlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ingemar Fransson got free with 谢冰适 in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ingemar Fransson did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised 谢冰适 75 minutes into the match. Tommy Janssen spun around in front of the goal 79 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Fotbolls Grisarna's goal. Carl Ruppen's late challenge caught a Göteborg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carl Ruppen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th minute, Carl Ruppen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Hellsing in the 95th minute of play forced Fotbolls Grisarna's goalkeeper Sven-Olof Tunander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96thth minute of the game Ingemar Fransson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Göteborg's 谢冰适 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Fotbolls Grisarna supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Fotbolls Grisarna would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
