But to his dismay, Andrei Joithe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Elg in the 12th minute of play forced Gbg United's goalkeeper Jonathan Widberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Widberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrei Joithe, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Bolltrillarnas BK made a substitution. Nouh Awwab replaced Reine Dahlgren. In the 20th minute there was a penalty for Bolltrillarnas BK. Dan Elg stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jonathan Widberg. 0-2. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Nouh Awwab sped through Gbg United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Widberg. 43 minutes into the match, Gbg United's goal looked a bit too open when Nouh Awwab came free, but Jonathan Widberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Bolltrillarnas BK were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Birkan Şahabeddin to strike the kick off in the second half. Bolltrillarnas BK's Dan Elg quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Holger Lövgren, made in the 51st minute of the game. Gbg United's Jonathan Widberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Gbg United from getting a goal against them. Bolltrillarnas BK were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Gbg United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Valdemar Dahlberg took the corner. The corner led Bolltrillarnas BK's Valdemar Dahlberg to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Widberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match was over Bolltrillarnas BK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gbg United throughout the match.
