The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 16th minute of the match Leo Östlund sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan-Ove Hääger skillfully saved the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 17 minutes into the game, when Tomas Lekberg put in a rough tackle. In the 17th minute, one of Lukas fc:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lukas fc. The referee gave FC NOVAK a penalty, 19 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Leo Östlund, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lukas fc's Jan-Ove Hääger. 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olle Simonsson during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC NOVAK booed when Lukas fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olle Simonsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lukas fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl Myr was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Axel Alefors was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 39 played minutes FC NOVAK got a freekick which was hit by Olle Lundqvist. William Siggesson scored 1-2 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan-Ove Hääger, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When Olle Lundqvist came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the FC NOVAK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olle Lundqvist couldn't finish the play. Karl Myr fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 56th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Karl Myr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lukas fc's Jan-Ove Hääger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Lukas fc from getting a goal against them. In the 68th minute, William Siggesson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Lukas fc booed when FC NOVAK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olle Lundqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 81 minutes, Bo Siggesson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lukas fc and the FC NOVAK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 81 played minutes Lukas fc got a freekick which was hit by Bo Siggesson. After a defensive mix-up in FC NOVAK's zone, Anton Örn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Axel Alefors came out of the goal and Anton Örn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anton Örn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Axel Alefors tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Olle Simonsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC NOVAK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
