The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arne Hultstrand showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Megers Lärjungar's William Fernström got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 9 minutes into the match, Grusvägen AB's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Gustavsson came free, but Arne Hultstrand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, William Fernström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Megers Lärjungar's supporters rose to their feet, but William Fernström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arne Hultstrand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Grusvägen AB booed when Megers Lärjungar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Hök didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Gustavsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Hultstrand having to interfere. When Martin Gustavsson came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Megers Lärjungar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Gustavsson couldn't finish the play. 25 minutes into the match, Kurt Hök notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Grusvägen AB's Arne Hultstrand. Arne Hultstrand was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 38th minute William Fernström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Hultstrand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arne Hultstrand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Gustavsson in the 44th minute of the match. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Grusvägen AB's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand.
