Gustavsberg's Tage Gustafsson suffered a concussion in the 20th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgar Lund during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edgar Lund hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Roy Hedström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erling Abrahamsson in the 23rd minute of play. When Håkan Sundberg came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Gustavsberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Håkan Sundberg couldn't finish the play. Roy Hedström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Wiman in the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Browall in the 30th minute of play forced Lyrestad's goalkeeper Roy Hedström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Quinito Benito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lyrestad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gustavsberg the free kick. Quinito Benito hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Andy Wiman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gustavsberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Andy Wiman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roy Hedström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 33 minutes of play, Gustavsberg's Erling Abrahamsson made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roy Hedström was left in no man's land by his defense there! 36 minutes into the match, Andy Wiman notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Lyrestad's Roy Hedström. Roy Hedström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Roy Hedström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Håkan Sundberg in the 40th minute of play. Gustavsberg's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Håkan Sundberg in the 41st minute. Lyrestad's Rune Örtendal quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Niclas Söderström, made in the 46th minute of the game. Roy Hedström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andy Wiman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Quinito Benito to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Erling Abrahamsson lined in a short shot 0-7 behind a frustrated Roy Hedström. Roy Hedström made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Andy Wiman sent off a good shot on target. 56 minutes into the game, Adrian Browall cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Roy Hedström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Gustavsberg's Adrian Browall slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roy Hedström. That made the score 0-9 after 65 minutes of play. Andy Wiman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Roy Hedström skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Robin Larsfält kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Roy Hedström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Håkan Sundberg in the 74th minute of the match. After 76 minutes, Erling Abrahamsson made it 0-10 with a short kick to the right side. Lyrestad's Roy Hedström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Lyrestad's Roy Hedström got control of the ball when Xie Sha Peng tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roy Hedström was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Lyrestad's zone, Andy Wiman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roy Hedström came out of the goal and Andy Wiman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Roy Hedström successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Andy Wiman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Roy Hedström made a huge save. Roy Hedström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håkan Sundberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Gustavsberg's Camilo Castulo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoffer Fors in the 96th minute of play. When the match was over Gustavsberg could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lyrestad throughout the match.
