Mårten Blom started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Zendium getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Mårten Blom hit a great ball. Jan Jelm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils Nordmark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mårten Blom in the 8th minute of play forced Östra Frölunda's goalkeeper Sven Rolfsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Östra Frölunda's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Enegren came free, but Sven Rolfsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan Jelm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edvard Martinsson in the 22nd minute. Sven Rolfsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mårten Blom in the 24th minute of play. Edvard Martinsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jan Jelm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Nordmark in the 32nd minute of the match. Richard Enegren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Sven Rolfsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Östra Frölunda's goal looked a bit too open when Dick Bennet came free, but Sven Rolfsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joakim Fagerberg hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Jan Gerdberg hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. A collision led to Östra Frölunda getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Jan Gerdberg hit a great ball. When Zendium's Richard Enegren in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Östra Frölunda's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Sven Rolfsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mårten Blom in the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute Mårten Blom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven Rolfsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zendium's Jan Jelm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvard Martinsson in the 65th minute of play. If Edvard Martinsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Östra Frölunda made a substitution. Ingmar Kolberg replaced Joakim Fagerberg. Zendium made a substitution. Joacim Backlund replaced Dick Bennet. Jan Jelm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edvard Martinsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Kennet Bolander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Jelm having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Zendium's goal looked a bit too open when Kennet Bolander came free, but Jan Jelm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven Rolfsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joacim Backlund in the 92nd minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Zendium had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
